Just a quick shout-out to let you know that I am still here! We finished moving my son into college last weekend. All went smoothly and he has survived (almost) his first week. It has been a busy one, but, he seems to be taking it all in stride.
I had planned to prepare several blog posts before the day came; however, I just never seemed to find the time or the creative energy. It seems that this week has been a blur and quite the time of adjustment.
My son is a quiet natured person, but, I have learned this week that our household is very quiet and different without him here. He was always busy and I was, in a way, a part of that. I miss, too, hearing about all of his friends who are now off to college themselves or who are preparing to start another year of high-school next week.
It's a time to find a new routine of sorts and to fill the empty space with new things. I have several blog posts in the works so don't leave me!
