Why not?
Sure, couponing saves money and, depending upon what you put into it, you can save a little or a lot! One year, I saved over $10,000! Remember, though, that when I say couponing, I mean smart shopping using store sales, manufacturer's coupons, store coupons, printable coupons, e-coupons, rebates, other incentives such as Saving Star and Swag Bucks, and meal planning. Couponing isn't just about a manufacturer's coupon that you find in Sunday's paper!
For me, couponing is about saving money, being able to try new pricier products, being able to purchase a variety of different brands for items that we are not brand loyal to, being able to help my family, and being able to donate to mission projects and charity organizations. For me it is fun!
By trade, I am an Accountant and numbers excite me! I love the challenge of finding the best deals and figuring out how to stretch my dollar. Besides, we live in an expensive day and we work hard to earn our dollars. Why give money away that you do not have to give away? If you are paying more than $1.00 for basic toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, or dish detergent, you are giving your money away!
I hope that you will continue to follow my blog as I share lots of information with you explaining how I use all of the techniques above to enjoy my shopping trips.
