I decided to head out to CVS yesterday afternoon after spending a few hours getting organized for this week's shopping.
I was able to purchase everything on my list without any coupon hoo-ha (my terminology for any coupon fumble). I was even able to make the deal a bit better thanks to an unexpected coupon that printed at the CVS Coupon Center.
I purchased:
(6) Diet Coke, 12 pack
$5.29 each x 6 = $31.74 - $11.74 (sale) - (2) $1.00/3 coupons = $18.00 or $3.00 each
(6) Kleenex with Lotion Tissues, 70 ct
$1.39 each x 6 = $8.34 - $2.40 (sale) - (2) $0.50/2 coupons = $4.94 or $0.82 each
(2) Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste, 6 oz
$3.99 each x 2 = $7.98 - $2.98 (sale) - $2.00/2 coupon = $3.00 or $1.50 each
(1) Playtex Gentle Glide 360 Tampons, 36 count
$8.79 - $0.80 (sale) - $3.00 printable coupon - $2.00 CVS coupon received at Coupon Center = $2.99
$56.85 Regular Price
($17.92) Sale
($ 8.00) Manufacturer's Coupons
($ 2.00) CVS Coupon
$28.93 New Total ($27.92 Saved/49% savings)
I received the following ECBs (Extra Care Bucks) that can be used on my next purchase just like cash. (They expire in one month.)
$2.00 for purchasing the Colgate Toothpaste (Like I paid $0.50 each!)
$3.00 for purchasing the Playtex Tampons (Like FREE)
$1.00 for purchasing the Diet Cokes (Like I paid $2.83 each!)
These coupons printed on the bottom of my receipt.
$2.00 off (2) Hand & Body Lotion, Bar Soap & Body Wash, or SunCare
$3 off $10 on all your Back to School and Office Supplies
$2 off (2) Deodorant products
$1.50 off any $5.00 Oral Care Purchase
These types of coupons are great! Since they do not specify a particular brand, they can be stacked with other Manufacturer's Coupons. I already have a deal in mind!
