Cary Creative Center

A few days ago, I read an article on WRAL about the Cary Creative Center.  It looked like a super cool place to visit especially given that Stacy is such a crafter and 'recycle-reuse' kinda girl!  After finishing the article I also took a peek at their website and Facebook page and was fascinated to see photos of things available in the store and to read about the classes that they offer.

Today, I decided to take Stacy on an adventure to check it out.  I was right - it is super cool!  Stacy was in 'recycle-reuse' Heaven!  The store is neatly packed with all kinds of crafting treasures:  paper, fabric, buttons, shells, yarn, stickers, and MUCH more.  In addition, you can also find gift bags, candles, baskets, photo albums, and MUCH more.

Stacy's Treasures - The gold box was only 25 cents!

Here are a few of my thoughts -

1.  It is a place for any kind of crafter!

2.  The fabric was awesome!  (A quilter could have a ball.)

3.  The prices are great!  Stacy picked out some neat goodies and I only spent $9.71!

4.  This would be a nice outing for a couple of crafting friends!

5.  I have a ton of stuff that we can donate to help support this business!

6. This would be a super place for teachers and church leaders to find craft supplies!

148 Colored Craft Sticks - only 50 cents

Cards by The Green Kangaroo - $1.00 (25 pk)

This huge piece of fabric was only $1.50.

Another fun thing that was available were pre-made themed assortments of 'stuff'.  For $3.50, we got this safari themed assortment -

I can tell you that this is our new fun place to go!  Stacy and I will be returning and have already brainstormed about taking some of her friends there for a 'girl's day out'.  I also think that we'll start a collection box for things that we can donate.

You can visit their website here:  www.carycreativecenter.org .  As I mentioned, you can also 'like' them on Facebook.

Do visit - you won't be sorry that you did!
