Today marks the beginning of Harris Teeter Triples. Even though I wasn't quite as prepared as I would have liked, I decided to head over after work today. It was a pretty good trip, although, a couple of times, I thought that my photo might end up on the front of a wanted poster before I could get done. It never ceases to amaze me how rude and inconsiderate people can be sometimes.
On a happier note, all of my coupons scanned and all but one tripled. I don't really sweat it too much if one doesn't triple. I enjoy couponing and am thankful for the stores who hold these type of events. I will also say here - insert soapbox under feet - that I don't think that it is appropriate to try to use competitor coupons in a store. I know, I know, some may gasp here, but, again, I am thankful for stores that issue coupons and think that I should show loyalty by using them in the store that issued them. Besides, $3.00 saved in one store is the same as $3.00 saved in another store, right?
