Batch Cooking: Vegetable Beef Soup

This one is my favorite so far!  Super yummy!  It will probably become a freezer staple especially during the winter time.


- Use (2) 1 gallon bags -

(1) Onion chopped, split between bags
(2) Garlic Cloves chopped, split between bags
(3-4) lbs Ground Beef, browned and drained, split between bags
(2) Carrots chopped, per bag
(2) Celery Ribs chopped, per bag
(3-4) Red Potatoes chopped, per bag
(1) large bottle Vegetable Juice, split between bags
(1) 28 oz can Diced Tomatoes, split between bags
(1 1/2) cups frozen Green Beans, per bag
(1) Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce, per bag
(1/2) cup Beef or Chicken Broth, per bag
(1) tsp Basil, per bag
(1/2) tsp Salt, per bag
(1/2) tsp Pepper, per bag
(1) Tbsp Sugar, per bag

Remove air from bag and lay flat on freezer shelf

Label: Add 1 1/2 cups water and 15 oz Beef or Chicken Broth.  Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
