Harris Teeter

This morning, I took a few minutes to make sure that my information was up to date for my store loyalty cards for Kroger, Food Lion, and Harris Teeter. In doing so, I added e-coupons to my Harris Teeter card and my Kroger card - something that I'm not too good about doing. I also joined the SavingsStar program that I posted about earlier today. This evening......off to Harris Teeter and Food Lion!

Harris Teeter tends to have higher prices than the other grocery stores; however, the sales are usually good and the Super Doubles and Triple Coupon events are awesome! Also, remember that Harris Teeter doubles (20) coupons up to a face value of $0.99 per day.

Here is how I did at Harris Teeter:

(2) Chex Mix $3.49 ea (on sale for $3.00 ea - coupon for $0.50 off of 2 which doubled)
(2) Ruffles Chips $4.29 ea (on sale BOGO)
(1) Tide 100 oz $14.99 (on sale for $11.99 - coupon for $2.00 off - ecoupon for $0.50 off)
(4) Pringles $1.85 ea (on sale for $1.50 ea - coupon for $1.00 off of 4 - ecoupon for $1.00 for 4)
(6) Margaret Holmes Canned Greens $0.99 ea (on sale for $0.67 ea - (3) coupons for $0.75 off of 2 which doubled)
(2) Kahiki Eggroll $4.25 (on sale BOGO)
(2) Nature Made 400IU Vitamin E $10.69 ea (on sale BOGO - ecoupon for $5.00 off of 2)

Meal Deal:
(1) Simply Potatoes Hashbrowns $2.89
(1) Dozen Eggs $2.09
(1) Oscar Myer Bacon $6.75
(1) Simply Orange Orange Juice $3.69

*The above four items purchased together in a single transaction were $7.99.*

Total: $40.81 (Regular price before sale and coupons would have been $91.20 - a savings of $50.39!)

The tide was a great price at $0.09 per ounce. (My buy-it price for Tide is anything lower than $0.11 per ounce.) All six cans of Margaret Holmes Canned Greens (one of our favorite brands) ended up being FREE after store sale and coupons. The Nature Made Vitamins (100 ct per bottle) were a great deal at $2.85 per bottle! All in all - a great trip. (Note: I would never pay $6.75 for bacon or $10.69 for a bottle of vitamins!) So glad that I loaded those e-coupons - a savings of $6.50 on this trip!
