At my coupon class Tuesday night, I talked briefly about how I save EVERY single receipt in our household. One reason that I do is to be able to submit rebates in a flash. If I pick up a rebate, I go back through my receipts, find the appropriate ones and mail in the rebates then instead of having to remember that I have it to use on a future purchase if I make that purchase within the required time frame. Confused?
Yesterday, I received an envie of rebate forms from a dear coupon buddie. Guess what? Two of them I could submit right away. One on a purchase of frozen pizzas made on January 31st and one on flowers purchased on January 21st. (The 6 Tombstone pizzas will end up costing me $2.94 +tax thanks to a great Kroger deal paired with the rebate.)
Yippee - $20.00 coming back to me! See, I know what I'm talking about! (They laughed at me!)
