I went! I went! I only went for very specific things that I knew would be free or nearly free since I didn't have alot of time. Here is what I got -

2 - Visine Tears $5.99 (less $2.00 coupon) = $1.99
1 - St. Joseph Aspirin $2.39 (less $1.00 coupon) = $0.39
1 - Tums Smoothies $1.89 (less $1.00 coupon) = FREE
1 - KY Warming Liquid $4.59 (less $2.00 coupon) = $0.59
1 - Trident 3 pk Gum $2.00 (less $1.00 coupon) = FREE
1 - Motts Apple Juice 64 oz $2.00 (less $1.00 coupon) = FREE
1 - Hormel Compleats $2.00 (less $1.00 coupon) = FREE
1 - Scott 12 pk Toilet Paper = $5.00

Of course, there were some coupon ho-hums, and the girl who checked me out tried her best to get it right, but, she didn't quite get it. I think that my OOP should have been a bit less, but, all-in-all, I'm pleased. I'm not one to really press an issue unless it is a BIG goof. I'm thankful for any coupon savings that I can get and figure that somewhere, I probably make up for a few dollars lost on improper coupon processing.
For those of you who do not know, K-Mart has been doing some special 'Coupon Events'. The most typical is doubling up to and including $2.00 coupons (ie a $2.00 coupon is worth $4.00). Other events have been doubling up to and including $1.00 coupons and tripling up to and including $0.75 coupons.
K-Mart's prices are not that great on a daily basis; however, with some patience, you can snag some great little FREEBIES.
