This is my son ~ my trombone player! I took this photo as we were heading out for his very first band performance. You can tell that he didn't want me to take pictures. The concert was simply awesome and I'm not saying that just because it was my son's band. They sounded like a high school band. I think that it must have alot to do with the band director. Can you imagine a bunch of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, some of whom have never touched an instrument, learning to play in a middle school band? He must have nerves of steel!
